The United German Hungarians of Philadelphia and Vicinity is an organization that exists to serve the welfare of its members, and the general community, in the realms of Culture, Social Recreation, and Sport. The club was founded in 1910 as the Banater Männerchor by ethnic Germans that hailed from the former Kingdom of Hungary. The Cultural Group was founded in 1965 and the Schuhplattler group in 1976.

The Enzian Volkstanzgruppe is a Bavarian Volkstanz and Schuhplattler group founded in 1968. The EVTG also has an active Kindergruppe and a band of musicians that play as a larger Blaskapelle, and sometimes as a smaller Tanzlmusik group. The mission of the EVTG is to promote and preserve German folk dancing in the interest of assisting the Delaware Sängerbund and Library Association, Inc. in its aim to promote German customs and traditions.

The Delaware Saengerbund, a German-American singing society founded in March 1853, became an important social club for newly arriving German immigrants. Although choral music is still important to the DSB, our activities now encourage the study and use of the German language, culture, traditions and customs. We share the traditional sociability among the German community at large and seek to foster a better understanding of the contributions made by German immigrants to the American way of life.

Gauverband Nordamerika, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, preserves and perpetuates the cultural heritage of Bavaria (Germany) and Tyrol (Austria) including its customs, ethnic costumes, language, folk music, and folk dances.

We provide our member societies in the United States and Canada with educational programs and opportunities for fellowship through conferences, festivals, and published media; and we cultivate ties with heritage societies in Bavaria and Tyrol.
